Fantastic food. I had the quesadilla with sweet pork and it was delicious! It came with sour cream, guacamole and a yummy cream sauce (maybe poblano?) which only made it better. I can't wait to go back! Highly recommend!

My wife and I stopped in for dinner out first day in Hawaii. I ordered the Da Kine Quesadilla with shredded chicken, with chips and salsa on the side. My wife ordered the Gnarly Nachos with the Sweet Pork. The guy at the counter was patient as we scoured menu (everything looked good). We received our order after only a few minutes. We both agreed the food was delicious, the portions and price were great for the island ($24 for two dinners and a large soda). The dining area was open aired (weathering permitting) and upbeat music was playing while we ate.
Amazing. We spent 4 nights at Turtle Bay Resort ( which I DO NOT recommend). And ate at North shore Taco 3 of 4 nights. Twice at their food truck and once at the restaurant. Had Shrimp, beef, pork, chicken, and steak tacos as well as shrimp quesadilla all was awesome. Don't forget the Strawberry Lemonade!!!
These were the worst tacos we've had anywhere. The amount of fish wouldn't fill a shot glass. The black beans were barely warm. The togo order did not include napkins or plastic forks. The price was outrageous for what we got. Go elsewhere!!
